bit of an update on this, i have started collecting bits and i won a 3.5 v8 rover engine on the bay this morning(well actually wifey did cos i was at work :D )
yeah i know nothing different about that, well i blame wifey as we went to a capri show at brooklands a couple of weekends back and there were a few v8 cappas there and when we were leaving a v8 cappa burbled of up the road and it sounded awsome
so the mk2's getting one, undecided on a gearbox at the mo but im thinking auto,we'll see :D

rebuild................... nah chuck it in and hope it works,i'll rebuild it if it dont
also had a thought on gearbox, ive got another type 9 5 speed,a rover bellhousing wiv the engine, a prop for a type9 for a mk2 so i jus need a billet of alloy for adapter plate a manual flywheel and a rose jointed gear lever
and i'll have to drive carefully so i dont break it
oh yeah and a pedal box
