the wether is a proble so i cant do that much outside at the moement :( :(
but she get regular outings :lol: :lol:
for its age it is very good i have to keep reminding myself its 43year old :shock:

hi malta the padded dash was part of the custom option ,this included a glove box and headlineing and also a coat hook :lol: :lol:

not much progress as i need to locate a door lock to go in me side door :? and the wether is bad :roll: :roll:

are you sure that padded dash was nt added a bit later :?: theres no sighn of it being an option in all my early brochures until mid 68

no mate its defo orginal thats not been added everthing with the van is still orginal apart from the exhaust :wink: ,it came also with headlineing :wink: :wink: i have been through brochures with pete lee :wink: :wink:
how far back does your brochers go mate? we went back to 65 onwards :wink:

ps the dash pad needs recovering as its gone round the edges :roll: :roll: but its gota come out soon for a new screen anyway! :wink:

ye sorry mark i ve now found it in a 66 brochure :oops: but not in the 65 one :?: i have 3 from 65 and one of them has pictures of the transit with the seats in the same tweed looking plastic just the same as the thames vans had in them :lol: :lol:
