Well today yesterday I finished clearing my container and I now have most of the bits to really get going with my project,

First job and to save space was fit my new-old body parts from my old van,

I have now fitted a new front grill with mesh init, and a new bonnet and the new back door that I had,

I think I will be going for the record of how many new panels I can fit to my van,

Well today I have started to work on the wiring of my van,

First job was to run a 240volt pick up from under the bonnet to the back of the van; I also ran the split charge wiring through to the back,

Once I had that run through I fixed my inverter to the panel that it would call home and set about connecting everything up,

I joined the 240 input lead to my consumer unit then came out of there with a main earth witch I bolted to the vans body, and another wire to go into the inverter,

Then the wiring would come out of the inverter of to my plug sockets,

The only reason for this is my inverter has a 240 volt pass through as well as a 12 volt input,

The next jobs to do are run the wiring to the very back of the van so I have a plug socket for my fridge, make to front and side panels to hide the wiring, then start running the 12 volt wiring to the different places it needs to be,

I hope that I can work on it tomorrow, just finding the heat is killing me and stopping a lot of play time, just want to kick back and do sod all,

Well today’s job was to carry on with the wiring on the van, I have now built the front and side panels to hide the wiring and keep it safe,

I have started to fit things ready to be wired up,

The 240 volt electrics are now up and running and working ok, even when I press the test button the trip pops and turn everything of, so happy days,

I still have more to do but I need to buy some wire before I can carry on,

Still big step in the right direction,

Hello, I have been busy all week working on my van. I’ve been trying to sort out the electrics. Finally getting some where,

I have also started to fit my fridge and cooker, bit on a pain in the back side but again i'm getting there

Well I have taken one step backwards with my build as I was not really liking the idea of the square boxes, so it all came apart and I started again,

This time I have started to make it with some shape, added more work but I like it already, more to come as and when I get it done,

thanks, just thought i would try something different this time as im not really keen on the plane square boxes, just seems the easyest way so i wanted a chalange, bit more work but i think its starting to take shape,
it seems to give more room inside aswell,

just need to make good all the joints and then look at some material to cover it all in,
