Looks nice that van. Where do you find a good looking Mk5 these days

Are you going to turbo it??

in hindsight i wish i'd gone for a turbo one, it can get a bit slow when towing - but i was more interested in getting a straight one :D might turbo it with a manual pump but it's low down on the list of jobs :D anyway like the reliability of the non turbo Di

with the price of petrol cheeper than diesel i was gonna work out what putting the 24v cossy in would cost me

and the wings arnt too bad :| but they have a few bubbles coming through and i want this with no rust  - might be a while before i swap them tho

make sure it's an 8 seater if you do :D

tbh if it was a van and i was in london that'd be my excuse to fit a 24v cossy

If i could i would but as my van is also my work van it would be off the road for too long, even if i sell i would need to find a decent Tourneo pretty quickly, if i did go the Tourneo route i would be removing the rear row of seats so 8 or 9 seater wouldn't really be an issue as it would only have 5 or 6 seats

I thought 9 or more got you off the congestion charge though :D That's why I went Petrol and 9. Not sure if it'll work though. Did I miss something out? :?

Petrol means you don't have to worry about the LEZ. 8 seater Tourneo is an MPV so doesn't pay LEZ, minibuses have to though which I guess is 9 seats or more.
