I like them mate!!! I have watched AlanN's fleet and the spots and fogs on other threads and just wanted something I could set into the contours of the van. Now AlanN and co have the know how but I really needed something more 'plug and play'
The lights were taken out of an XR2 bodykit and they fit more or less exactly. Turbotom has another bumper so I am going to try and prise that off him and recess the lights into it which should look good fingers crossed. Dont forget I am trying to do all this on £250 including paint

This is what happens when you are the most fertile man in Wigan!!! More kids = less pennies for the van!!!

The stripes are going later this week Axxez :(

She has her new ticket!! Needed some welding and it challenged my resolve as to whether to call it a day on her as my MOT man said it will need more each year and wifey was in my ear to get rid. Exchanged a few emails with AlanN (The Guru) and she is going nowhere!!! In fact the wife can go first
So now the exec is back home on the drive in pride of place and Friday the prep starts on the paint (this time without the vodka). Graphite grey front into black rear and then full lacquer. Wheels off and refurb and back on the road by this time next week!!!

Thanks for the comments and the PM's guys, pics will go up bit by bit as directed by the Massives rulebook..... and there WILL be an exec at Transitmania this year!!!!!

AlanN, I have been asking that question for a few years mate, Paulsilly had a J reg but I havent seen him on here for ages and there was one being converted back to an exec last year too but finding the interior is nigh on impossible!! Would be nice to hear if there are any left but the Massive rolecall brought up mine and the one being converted :(
AND THERE IT IS!!!!! The reason I have just given my Mrs as to why I didnt scrap it

We will see you there mate!!!!

"Where have all the Executives gone?"

There is one parked in my drive at the moment. It belongs to my son, Chris.
It's "G" reg, Mercury Grey and on SORN atm. Nice condition with the odd mark but
basically very sound. It might get taken to Transitmania this year, but that remains to be seen.

Well following the old topic entitled "vodka versus the spray gun!!!!!" we had some more drinkies at the weekend..... which led to another trip to Johns paint shop.... oh dear!!! "Have you got anything you mixed by mistake mate?" I slurred thinking I could do another cheapy (amazing what ideas alcohol gives you )
So armed with a tin of mystery paint, thinners, clear and the best wishes of a chuckling John we staggered home in the sunshine. Some flatting down, a few more drinks and some masking off later (badly as proved by the overspray on the tyres  ) and out comes the compressor...........

"Its grey / blue" says one neighbour "with glitter in it" 8)

"Its .... er .... lovely mate" said another

"It needs scrapping!!!" says the wife :?

There is only one way to describe it in my opinion.... its like bloody grey primer with metal flake!!! so it looks like it will be going another colour when the weather turns nice again... and no alcohol (honest)
