BM colour is real good choice, I would like to c it done, just the cost is double when using base coat over a straight colour, but makes the job in my opinion.
If it not a Ford then you can keep it.

Cheers bud! Decided on colour- BMW Amethist. proper nice metallic purple very dark but not as dark as the techno violet! cant wait to get it on there but might as well try n do it properly n sort arches etc out first. 'not much point polishing a turd' :lol:

done a tester inside rear doors. bit rough but already i love it enough to go and do a sh*t load of over time to pay for the paint etc!

looks awesome on the bit that was 'good' paint underneath, especially in sunlight! ill get there eventually but it'll just take bit of time! front n/s arch was kinda botched with fiber glass to get thru winter. worked so well it got left but its fugly so i best sort it first!

make sure you do and i wont forget gazeebo. can get both vans under it n still have 10 foot plus in between as communal area :wink:

come on spill the beans about how you are gunna run this in the van i have been plotting and planning heavy duty 24v power supply for years but it all gets a bit silly with relays and things to split two 12v batterys to charge but allow them in series for powering stuff.

Just got a random phone call from father in law saying he's got me an awning for my van! wahoo :D

... bet he don't show up now tho :)

any suggestions on mounting most appreciated. not got a roof rack but have welder n drill!

It helps you attach it to your gutter.
