The colour looks like jewel violet..it was a colour that the escort cosworth monte was painted in.

Painted the tv pod and fitted that this afternoon and Tommy Tint is coming to do my window tints tomorrow!!!!!

Well, 2day and a few hundred quid later and this is how far I got,


Unlaqueared roof

Roof and gutter joint


Flatened and polished a little bit

Just need to remember where all the parts go now!!!

after you sprayed colour did you use clear laquer to seal it in or just sprayed colour???

It's all been done with base coat then clear coat, most modern paint finishes are done this way, takes twice as long and costs twice as much, some times wish I had just used a straight colour, but its getting there now, just need to pull finger out and get it finished!!!!!

Got back end fitted up the day, ran cables in to tailgate for speakers and reverse camera, easier said than done!!!!

Hopefully get some more done next week, flat out working, might even manage to save for a set ov wheels

Y thank you, Starting to come together now, just wish I had more time spare!!!! Work from 9am till 10 pm the day on customers cars! Think I might just be poor and get my van done Over the moon with the tinted windows just hope mr plod likes them as much as me!!!!

Ha im sure theyll leave you alone if your not wanted!! just drive with window down a bit so they can see yer face... its a psychological thing i believe. big brother n all that bull sh*t. plus youll see em coming with your cctv
