Why? Is your bonnet knackered as well? If I were you - and a lot of the other guys have said it already - spend your money on what NEEDS doing first. Like a driving licence for instance!

Just out of interest - do you speak a different lingo in Mablethorpe to the rest of us? As in: "me would of buyed that" when the rest of us would say "I would HAVE BOUGHT that"

nope just normal i was from notts

how i ment is i wanted one its cheap but to far for me to buy it so i said me would of buyed that of only wasnt to far away

But she had a small breakdown today

coming back up the M40 the AC stopped and i lost me power steering. limped home checked and the belt had come off and got caught on the compressor. so OK i whent to fit it and the whole mount is loose out of the 4 bolts that should be there i had the one thru the timing case and the very back one into the block. Top one was sheared and the lower one wasnt there also the tentioners breaking up and the waterpumps rumbling and the power steering pump is leaking

the bolts were loctited and torqued to haynes spek

So on my day set to have a break from the van i ended up replacing the PAS pump replaced the missing bolt but couldnt get the top one out so roll on new lump

had to order new AC belt and water pump

thie is all after telling Altransit its not broken down this year

hi guy ive just read the whole of this thread and what can i say m8 your a hero well done on everything you have done couldnt believe your brake disc going like that it just shows what a waste the mot is

have you tried truck busters in rugby m8 they have loads of transits in all the time

The bolts i pinched out me lathe and me uncle runs a breakers yard

Tried truckbusters and he was little help. he didnt know they had twin SLD or air con
