bit of an update, went out in van on sunday and brakes were makin a weird noise, so had a quick looky last nite :x
im now off outside to fit a new rear wheel cylinder, and a set of front pads :roll:
im gonna look into fitting discs on the back i think :wink: an stiil on the lookout for some vented front calipers to go with my new discs for the front :?

block is pourus, filled it with coolant(pink)and it ended up in the cylinder/sump :evil:

yea too much effort :( never mind, although its got an old pinto in it, i did leave my straight cut quaife gearbox in there :shock: but ive only driven it 3 times and i took it back out tonite an put a standard 5 speeder back in cos its to fookin noisey :lol:
i can pull away without slippin the clutch now :wink: an im gonna put a mk2 clutch pedal in there so i can do away with the ratchet thing :x

Looks like you should be rebuilding 2 V6's over the winter then :wink:

I did clock you @Porkys earlyer in the year... Bad boyed swb with some nice little touches! was a blue top cologne :?: the only Van night so far (but i did manage to get down to Robbie Cees birthday bash WOY OYH bbbrrrrrrutt!) i didnt get the pleasure of witnessing your little beasttaking of up the road as i had to bust a move early (Essex classics night? 2 nice cortiners mk2s :? ) but if it worked like your 'heirloom' looks then maybe a little chinwag over a suitable new home to put it?... heirlooms are precious things im aware... and how many engines and boxes!? :P 8) :mrgreen:

bit of an update, since swoppin to pinto power the clutch has been sh*t£, so pulled it to bits a couple of nites back, and modded a mk2 pedal so i dont have that poxy ratchet anymore.
bit more involved than i first thought, but i think its sorted, goin for a road test tomoz, as i could'nt be arsed tonite :lol:
just got some coil wiring to tidy up, then maybe i will risk taking it to the ace on wednesday eve :)
