After all that work, too. Still can't say i'm surprised, 1700cc? i struggle with my 2000 Pinto and as for the carb . . . . . what is it?
i replaced the VV on the Pinto with a Weber Twin Choke and it improved both economy AND power, Who'd have thought it?
Good Luck M8 with the V4, but i'd think more along the lines of 6 or 8 cylinders.
Custom gets my vote too. Make it YOUR own Tranny, not just a resurrected classic.
Just been looking at some of the old 70's & 80's flicks, seeing how fantastic some of the old school vans and rods were.
But in the end it's your van, your decision.
