Ps. The headlight brackets are broken and they sit on sponge which is why the gaps look odd, i had to gently push down for them to go to the sweet spot, none of the bolts are in etc so the gaps are just a guide for now.

Looking good loot.
Passed a hilti custom yesterday. Don't remember any black strips just hilit stickered accross bonnet.

Thanks chaps, if you mean the black on the grill it's a sport upper, the lower bumper is from somewhere else

There's loads of residue from the hilti stickers which i need to get rid of but i don't need to cut it so I'll have to think on about what to do Lol.

You would have flagged him down walt and had a look in his van Lol, mine has runners tracks on the floor in the back suggesting there may have been a flight stewardesses trolley in there or something.

Also under the pass sld there's underseal missing but in a shape of something that was fitted before under seal, wouldn't be a webasto or something would it?

Could of been a webasto etc. Our hilti batterys don't like the cold and won't charge.

i wanted to spray the white but red but not quite the same shade bits i transplanted onto the van I used about 600ml of that other red in a tin and most of another, i now have 1/4 of the amount of spray in this tin to do the same again.

What would mcgyver do

And can someone pls tell me if i use the lacquer? The advert said i won't get it if i order a solid colour and I'm sure i have, there's no lacquer on my van.


The glue isn't bad but there's plenty on the back doors which now has traffic film stuck to it and also on the door corners where they pulled the hilti vinyl off.

The paint is flamingly new rho there's no swirls or anything so i need to be careful

Wax on wax off.

You could try baby wipes there great I use them for everything, cleaning skirting's, cleaning fascia boards, even the dash of the van and getting paint of my bloody hands.

I thought all vehicles were lacquered now but I know nothing, I learn it from a book. N

what's all those girly spray cans? why didn't you just get ¼ litre mixed up at the shop and spray it on wit gun?
i thought clear coat was for on top on top of base paint ?
how do you mix the hardener in the lac stuff in that tin ?? hellp

You can buy it from any good paint shop supplier I used it when we bought those MRk 7 vans from hewdens
