yes i did wish i know it was the earth clamp all a long i throught its the welder fooked or its me

but any thing i weld now from car body metal to 2mm it just welds nice

some more good news i tock my gear box plastic cover of and tock the rubber plug out on the left side and put a torch in and its a silver new clutch it looks like

i was trying to see if my clutch had same number on as daves but couldnt see a code

daves is mf 265 as we phoned ford transit parts and the bloke said the hicube had the bigger clutch in then the normal transits

heavy duty ones about 1 inch bigger and = bigger price 160.00 odd as in mine is 45.00 lol

Thats news to me, they must have a bigger flywheel fitted on highcubes then
I have done clutches on them and cant remember any differences

note gear box dont come of tock proshaft of etc and starter motor and exhurst
and all bolts to gear box and losen the gear box cross member you can push the gear box left to right but wont go up or down just moved all the engine

daves thinking of going some where else like fiat garage

been doing it since 4 and still going now starting with head ake to
oh and dont know if there diffent or not no the other transits but the proshaft bolts are t55 trox x4 of them

sounds like either the engine to bell-housing locating lugs are seized in solid or the gearbox input shaft is seized in the spigot bearing on the end of the crank

Theres not much else it can be in my experience.

How much gap have you managed to get between the engine block and bell housing?
