Done about 1000 miles with it (including 2 at N weald )

But my diff is now making some really nasty noises at full lock (I have been leaving a few 11s around the roads of sussex ) and the rear brakes have started to shudder very badly from braking at 60mph +

Im hoping a diff oil change and some new shoes will sort it - there was an imbalance at the back at the last MOT and hopefully it will sort that out too

I don't think its putting out more than 120-130 at the moment Mark so not a lot more than the 115PS you could get out of the factory...

I knew the brakes needed new shoes before putting the V6 in but never got round to doing it

well I have re-done the timing - engine seems smoother manouvering around the garden, so hopefully a couple more horses may be released

I have also replaced the brake shoes, both cylinders were totally free (good news) and all went pretty well. Had to take 1 drum off to re-adjust but other than that all was easy.

I also checked the diff oil level... I got about 1/2 litre in it (thats after about 1000 miles since I put it in and topped it off) the pinion seal is leaking badly so I think I need to get it sorted I never have much luck with oil seals so I think I may pay to get it done

The diff noise at full lock has also stopped, so I guess it was due to the low oil level
