Matt that was a strange answer, you havin a bad day?

when i fit it does piston need to be at tdc or will it "self adjust"?
do i remove the other 5 plugs whilst testing to make cranking easier?
do i crank by hand or on starter?

ps any idea of order of rocker adjustment on a v6??(long winded ill bet!)

Rob mate, you need a starter AND a flywheel to do a compression test, and I have your flywheel :lol:

It might take a while to explain how to adjust valve clearances, but I am sure all will be revealed tomorrow evening at the meet :D

Sweet. theres a bit of a change on cards for the meet as the venue's bods are apparently also as a sideline catering for olympics so said wont be open tomo evening or any evening during olympics :evil:

never mind we have 5 macdonalds 3 kfc numerous pizza huts and even my house if no one else shows!

Possibly gonna be at Pitsea, ill get on the case in the relavent thread !

sweet . heads are on now just need torquing up then inlet manifold etc. cant see how the dizzy skew gear meshes with the cam gear as they look at different angles. does the dizzy just drop into the hole on block top side and rest (ish) on the cam gear? :twisted:

Well had a few hours more "tinker time" so now heads are torqued up, inlet manifold on, 38DGAS on, distributor fitted and fixed crack near thermostat from a previously over tightened bolt!
