Fitted the A-Bar today, went in no probs & I must say it does look

Just in the process of wiring up the spots

Thinking if I splice into each headlamp unit's high beam live

Am I correct in thinking when I use the high beam the spots will light at the same time? Or would this option cause problems with my main headlights.

Don't wanna cause any fires under the bonnet or blow my main bulbs

You need to fit a relay and fuse to take the load of the main been mate
