After a 5 hour trip from my driveway to the shed, my 2.8i V6 has arrived... Its a long story, but in breif, had to build ramps up through the house and a some hard standing up the garden to the shed, not too bad, it only took an hour. But getting it on the engine stand was an engineering marvel without a hoist, had to slowly jack the engine up on blocks until the same height as the stand. It reminded me of that geme of woodern blocks, jenga I think.

Ive started work on it already, by cleaning and painting a few bits up as Im taking them off. Power steering rack has been steam cleaned, painted along with the pump, brackets and hoses. Radiator has been cleaned and damaged fins in the core straightened, then painted in matt and gloss. Just been looking at the alternator and starter motor, damm they need work. I'll post some more later.
