the other day i bought the correct rocker cover for a transit (long oil neck) as the corsair engine ive got has a short oil neck

just out if interest, would a shorter prop be needed if an overdrive was to be fitted :?:

adam dropped some items off today :)

engine
box
prop
exhaust
4.63 axle

and some other bits and bobs - all fitted in the back of the van nicely
not sure when the convertion will happen but when it does i wil take lots of pics to explain how it was done as there dosent appear to be much info on a pinto flat front convertion :!:

the parts in adams van before we took them out - the gearbox is the type 9 i think

just bought the correct gear knob for the 5 speed gearbox as the one on there had reverse in the wring place - picked it up from a scrap yard :)

that means you nicked it then, id just fit standard mk1 on it look better 5 speed nob looks to modern
