so you wont it so you can show off, and then when they say o its a 5 speed, then you can tell them....... yes and we put a 4.63 axle in it and a 2.0 pinto and it does 80+ bla bla....... please dont leave........ were you going,...dont run............ i can run fast to you no...... hang on..... i havent told you about my van being left hand drive and we converted it............:lol: :lol:

the only way that will do 80+ is on the back of a transporter :wink: downhill

not used one for a whilst...he asked me where reverse was in the transit the other day..so i guess its easier to have it written on the gear knob

and :lol: neil - not expecting it to be quick....just quicker than it is :lol:

my would do 80 when it was petrol 4 speed and with 5.14 diff ? this mk1 is going to have 4.63 diff and 5 speed that van will do 80 no prob ok if you keep doing 80 your gona blow it up. but your saying it wont do 80 it will

just tried to bid on a mk1 single and double seat...got automatically out bid by £1 :evil: :evil:

.....and i know im un likely to get one for near that price again :(

MY NEW NUMBER PLATE'S ARRIVED TODAY!!! :lol:

its black and white to replicate the ones on the early vans like the pic below - i havnt pealed the protective sheet of the top yet

similar style 8)

its nothing special but FX is the area code for Bournemouth which is near where we live so i thought id like a local number plate its a 68 plate and it says 68 on it aswell - really pleased, just have to put it on now :lol: 8)

that same engine,now in my mk5 (di 5 speed box) and 4.56 diff does 90 now :D

well i think black and white/silver late 71 early 72

my dads cortina is 72 and its on yellow and white plates and there original

but ive seen people with 80's cars have them but they dont look that good on later cars i dont think

but 72 most prob
