I'm actually struggeling with the filler. I don't like it. Wanted to do without it, but obviously I can't... :evil: I have these little dinks, which are imposible to sand out. Did anyone try the glazier putty? Or something like that, what is it that helps to get the finish smoother than filler...? Wet and dry doesn't really make any difference... :? Also - what would be your "recommended" filler? I used easy sand, but it certainly isn't easy to sand for me... :?

Have you tried cellulose putty? you can use a putty knife or scraper to fill shallow dents on primer, its much finer than filler :D

I've just been out in the garage trying to find a special filler i use when im making these

It's a really fine filler that sands really easy but once set fullt is really strong.
i will have a look in the garage in daylight tomorrow and try and find it as its bugging me now
96 mk 4 smiley banana swb semi hi top
Mk6 swb low top with even more rust!
04 Connect T220 LWB.
