And replaced the drivers wing. She has had a prang at sompoint and the lower arch is about 5 mm too far in

Coming on mate! Somtimes that digging thing can be a bit regrattable. Still, got to be done.

Wing is from beevers. The last person to replace it did a cr*p job andused a gen ford wing and a lot of seam sealer. i cut 4 welds and it come off And i didnt need to cut around the arch

I used MVM's how to and it took about 2 hours Just got to weld behind the door now

What was it like behind the wing
And was there any noticeable differences in the wings as somebody mentioned that their replacement was shorter by over 5mm

What about thickness

So you didn't have to take the door off....... Yet

Well behind was only surface rust. with half a can of waxoil no put on

Wing is exactly the same as the old one only without the rust

hi m8 the bar looks gr8 a was jst wondering if you could post a couple of pics from the roof of the van and do you have the dimensions of the bar becuase a want to make 1 for my 80 swb semi hi top thanks

Bar is 5' long with 2 pieces of spare tube welded on the ends. Then 2 brackets underneath and welded to the roof. Semi hi wounld be different thou

That'll show every ding in the paintwork, you'll never stop washing it and it'll cook you in the summer
