Hi Pagan.
I'm about to do the exact same job - AND some work on the frames as well.
Is it doable in one week?
You look skilled - I'm not sure I am skilled as you - but is it "just" time consuming or is it difficult at the same time?

My Van just failed MOT due to rotten frames in the back (the ones that go past the rear axle) and I'm thinking about doing what you did - a complete restauration of the rear of the van...

Was it difficult to get hold of the frame parts and pieces?
Was it expensive?

Thanks in advance

got most of my parts from here mate
https://www.crashrepairparts.com/parts/ ... ipper/387/
had to get the rear crossmember from ford tho it was about a £100!
Mine took ages because it was a camper van, if yours is just a van it shouldn't be so bad!
I will say tho I won't be doing another one, ha ha

If she's been standing for a while brake judder is to be expected but will cease with a bit of use, I once picked up a van that had stood for a few months(at one point up to its mirrors in snow) the brake judder was horrendous but it had just about dissappeared by the time i got it the 60 miles home then was gone altogether with a bit of use around the doors the following day :)

A pulled the drums off mate, they are fairly scoured and pitted, spent that much on van don't suppose a little more will do any harm, lol

Shame they're so heavy, got a new unused pair plus shoes here but delivery cost would be astronomical and time too short for your mot anyway, you'll probably get sorted for similar total price (hopefully less) locally , and yes after all the quality work and cash you've put into it, its well worth another few quid :)

It is looking great. I believe it will go through MOT easily :)
