the flatness of the panels is down to steve! we're very pleased with the finish there are a few areas we would have spent a bit more time on to get them "perfect" but actually getting time to spend on the van is allways a struggle! and the van will be used (not abused) ................... one day

a few areas will need a bit more minor work, but they will
be done after the van is back on the road.

Got her sitting on all 4 alloys today looks great but i wish now i'd gone for a higher profile tyre, the ones i have are 225/50 R16 on the back and 205/55 R16's on the front i chose them as they were the same diameter as the 185R14C's that were on before but I think when they wear out i'll swap em for 225/55 R16's and 205/60 R16's - i just think they will suit it better!!!
also the van sits really high - dont know why at the back, there's no reason - infact it should be lower as ive removed the rasing blocks that were there - im hoping it will settle down a bit once its been driven
but the front sits higher as ive removed the Di - i think i may have a set of knackered leaf springs to fit in the front to lower it tempararly till i fit the ifs

fitted the diff input shaft seal today
got it from JimH - thanks mate

had a little trouble trying to knock it in anyone whos ever fitted a core plug knows the feeling so i made this puller contraption the pipe fits over the outer edge of the seal and the plate goes over the top then the diff flange nut holds it in place, a combination of pressure applied by the nut and tapping the plate with the hammer gets it in a treat



apart from that im still on with the rear disk conversion- hopefully i'll have it all done this weekend!!! the rear axle not the van

Update- Got the engine running today - i'd had it running before i started but i think all the petrol must have evaporated away so i stuck a pipe into a bottle of petrol stood on the floor - unfortunatly cos of this i couldnt drive anyware but i'll pop up in the week with some fresh petrol and have a run around one thing i did find was the carb gasket is leaking i'll have to sort that before the test

also i had a look for some of the bits missing to complete - bits of trim etc. but nothing to stop me MOT'ing her
