inner wings panel just fell out of my van, compeltely rotten, is it part of the wing or the body?
the inner part with the battery tray and the rail for it to attach is solid, also headlight bowl lower section is rotten can you get them new? should be ok without the inner panel, just get a bit of muck spraying up.

i did not know the rear bench seats folded into a normal seat, very comfy aswell ideal for travelling, as all the campers ive had over the years and its the only one ive had that did that, i could fit lap seats in it now if i wanted, for safety.

Mate remember when you posted the details on ebay? I told you it was still taxed then. It's odd cos when I ran the plate through the DVLA it was still taxed. I can't remember, was that late last year or early this? Either way, it looks like it's sorned now. Let's hope it's been taken off the road to be restored eh? Nice work with you current Mk1, can't wait to see the finished article!

thanks for that, maybe as you say somebody is restoring it as its condition was far too good to be scrapped it had a rebuilt engine for a start , body was solid and i rebuilt the wooden pop up roof.

thanks for the encouragement on my current mk1, i cant wait to see it done either as there are plenty who would not entertain it as it is a dog of a van, but suits me fine :D and it drives superb
