Try putting it in gear and rocking the van - what happens does the engine turn :?:

yes the engine turns over a bit but only a very small amount i.e you can only push van about 6 inches

is the cambelt still on it?????? and has the headgasket gone again ???? are you shure the engine isnt full of water down one of the pots?????? :? :?

the belt is still on :) not sure bout the gasket yet i am going to whip the head off tommorow and see whats there?

oh the oil looks ok no visible signs of water but some of the rad hoses have a trace of oil inside them???

was all up and running sweet until today got half way home and the steering went very heavy and started whining turns out one of the p/s pipes has split i managed to bodge it up with electrical tape and has held out fine but i think the pump is knackered as i have filled it back up but it is screaming everyytime you turn the wheel :( looks like i will be down the breakers tommorow getting a new one :(

i dont know why it eats parts when i got it 15 months ago nearly every part in the engine bay had been replaced as they all had the stickers on with different dates etc maybe i expect to much of it :lol: still once she is running she is fine. she earns enough every week to have something minor go wrong :lol:

thats what everyone keeps telling me :oops: :oops: i suppose you cant expect it to carry loads of weight and race about in it at the same time :oops: oh well when the summer gets here there should be a new arrival :)

i have had a very good day today i have got all the wiring ready for the elecy mirrors and have prepared the new drivers door ready to go on have even fitted puddle lights 8) the speedo is reading correct now with a little help from my dad :P have also fitted some plastic step liners to the front doors as they cover all the scratches and marks it's looking alot more tidier now hopefully she will be sprayed in 4/5 weeks time :) engine is running great now p.a.s is all repaired good old electrical tape :lol: but i think the pump suffered from being ran dry its screaming a bit but only when really warm :?

no madmark might be able to get the pump and pipes for me if not i will get some at the breakers this week

youd be suprised at what electrical tape holds :lol:
