ive spent a day and half with a scraper and scraped all the underseal off the chassie and its white and mint, ive took a pic and will put it on soon it hasnt a single hole at all, well pleased

i have a small blast pot, i did my RS mk1 with it and it took ages , this needs to much doing so i will call in Norman, hes mobile and @£80 an hour anyone in my area wants him give me a pm for his number, like i say hes mobile in a 7.5 tonner, proper bit of kit in the back, but you must have somewhere for him to do it !! brings it up mint though....brand new

no more than 2 if i remember the camera im in the final welding stages now, ive chopped the front petrol cross member off to extend the spring hangers and mount the diesel cross member, ive also chopped the engine mounts off that someone had welded on to take the yorkie it had, one was further forward than the other once thats done its blast time when im doing a resto like th is i think the welding is never gonna end

well heres an update about another million hours gone into it

scraped off chassie, ready for blasting,



nice clearance now





gearbox cross member sorted,





extending the chassie/springhangers to take the diesel front, dont like them petrol fronts with a bullnose stuck on,





lots of small handmade panels had to be made to fit the diesel crossmember,







trial fitting the crossmember,





closing panel off to show the panels made,



front end loosely fitted to check gaps before welding crossmember ,



getting somewhere now
