van is looking good. must be good to have a 'spare' van so you are not rushing those time consuming jobs to get the van back on the road for work.

Yeh it's good and bad, there's stuff to come off gabby to fit onto Fay but I cant take them off too soon as Gabby still has to earn a living :|

Apart from some bits that need painting etc, the loadspace is pretty much finished so I started on the framework for the sleeper cab:

Been a busy week (full bike test etc) so haven't done much, just finished making the base for the bed though:

It's made up of 4 sections, 2 will be screwed in place the others will fold/slide into place once you slide the front seats forward

Yeh 47x47 kiln dried, seems pretty strong, costs about £2 per 8ft from wickes

It's actually one big square hole (with loads of rivet holes), in the photo is what was left stuck to the van

I've got a bit of galv sheet about the right size to fill it

Some vent holes in the bed base may help avoid a damp mattress.
