Back in Essex now, after a fekin baking day. Van drives sweet, pulls great and the noise has died down on the timing gear
only down side seem to have slight fuelling issue with the fuel pump, might need a space in between pump and block? doesnt seem to be getting full stroke on the arm of pump, but pumped manually is fine! emptied the fliat chambers pretty fast on the a2

Anyone confirm if there should be a spacer between pump and block? cheers!

Other than that im well chuffed with my new exhaust note, more power and prob more top end (but carb needs tweaking at some point) and once i sort the fuel pump its gonna kick ass! 8) =============================================

I used to race the V6's back in the 80's/90's and had one in my mk1 transit 8) . If you run without a thermostat put a baffle plate/restrictor in the housing.
It pushes the water to the back of the block stopping the rear cylinders overheating, I used to have the back two cylinders bored sloppy as well due to heat build up.

My race engine put out 220 bhp :D.The one in my service barge 140bhp................. happy days
so many lamposts so little time........................stupid place to put a wall wasn't it

Glad I am not the only one who thinks there should be a spacer/gasket between the pump and the front case,

My local Ford Commercial agent are checking the SVO build info as I type, hopefully a positive outcome!
