i towed my caravan down to north weald -it's only a small caravan :) engine wise it was spot on but van wise the suspention was too soft on the back and my tourneo tows it better :lol:

i've got 1 working now and it works a treat :mrgreen:



its quite easy to make them one touch too :wink:

not sure if you can as theres no limits on them :) i could add a relay to make them 1 touch but when it got to the top it'd just keep the power on so it'd need some sort of timer wouldnt it :?: ............... thats too much hassle :lol: i dont mind them like they are :D

you will need to register but it only takes a minute, they have a good how to section 8)

funny you should mention that .............. it ran out of petrol on the rollers :oops: :lol: managed to get it outside and luckly it didnt need the emmisions doing so it was ok :D
other than that the NOS n/s flexi brake hose i got is starting to crack :shock: :( - wasnt bad enought to fail but i'm gonna change the lot for some braided hoses :D

started reading this yesterday(including all links) and have just finished.Well what can i say?
Luke your skills/imagination and hard f****n work are all amazing!
I hadn't seen your van before just your old sideview avatar,my thoughts were "hmmm nice looking mk2 van" :oops:

5 years and still tinkering thats dedication.I wait with baited breath :wink:

little update :) got these single leafs off a mk4 hopeing they will fit ok but from reading a few topics on here i'll have to measure 1st :lol: but at least they were a good price :D free 8)
the idea with the single leafs is they will stop the twist i'm getting when launching on the drag strip they should also be a bit harder than the springs on now - which are very soft :)

Got some Mk3 leafs and they fitted my Mk5 no problems! Bit springy though won't it be?
My Mk5 was biodegradable and disintegrated with time.

i think mk3-5 are all same i think the mk1-2 are same but just not sure about the position of the centres :D

it's that time of year again :( putting it away for the winter :(

it's got a nice little garage at my dads 8) bit small but there's power and its quite secure 8)
