Yup I got a facet solid state 3psi pump as the oldskool one got too hot!
It's now on chassis rail under the step area next to tank.

New fuel lines too in a better location I hope LOL

Let's hope exhaust sorts it out!

Will defo need a tune up with co analyzer and rolling road...

Do I actually need the vacuum advance working on this lump?
Seen some on net that have disconnected theirs!
Guess if timed up it'll be ok just not retarded on idle..

Did the springs do anything for the ride Robbie?

They were the tourneo ones, which are apparently equivilant to the soft ride 100 ones...

so today when i get the chance to play i find both batteries dead... guess when my neighbour fitted springs he thought he'd play with switches.
left the PA amp on (on the 2nd battery) AND the bloody split charge override key in place so the amp flattened both batteries.
thats just my luck ...

so i fitted these instead, and put another battery on charge  looks like one needs shifting over a tad, a job for tomorrow methinks.

A good way to waste a few hours in my opinion. least they work! 8)

Went out to Kent today in the van...
Ran fine, not Much traffic, but seem to be running well without advance
Newly ran fuel lines seem to be an improvement
And working breaks n suspension is great too

Just need to remember to check manifolds after next long run!
clutch is shot too the fork or arm is in need of renewal but box out job so ill put up with it til
I loose it altogether!

Also need to get better sealing rocker covers as still wee oil loss from cover

Sounds great at low revs cruising up the road and lovely at full tilt!

HAHA back on a proper pc... forum or anything else on htc wildfire is painful on such a small screen... and typing, dont even go there...

gonna fit my rear seats in, then move bulkhead behind em so i still got a "locked" section in the rear. dunno if it will end flush with side door or poss forward
slightly from rear-of-side door, if ya get me...

all swings on legroom etc in rear and if i can get that unwins strip stuff to mount the seats so they can be removed and fixed against the side for day van use...
if i can get enough unwins strip ill put bulkhead further forward, if not ill leave a shed load of room behind rear seat , with whole mid section for the passenger area and bulkhead for last 3rd only.(but this will hamper loads etc but sod it )

im planning on making a 2/3 or 3/4 height front bulkhead that still allows an (as clear as poss) over front seat view to allow light into mid section and also so rear passengers can see forward .(also there will be side windows fitted too)

this bulk head will incorporate rear heater, air outlets (face n feet ), cup holders and a few other toys too!! will be either rhino skin speaker type covered or even just a cheap carpet depending on funds etc ...

expect leds too

Wahoo today brought payday, and payday just brought a new recon dizzy (with new vac unit n leccy ignition already fitted) and a cheapy timing strobe with advance timing control on it ....sweeeeeet. be good to definitively sort timing out... then exhausts should run bit cooler too!
also ive seen these flange type gaskets i might give a try as i got a recurring few leaks from manifold to head... understandable really as its 'fookin-Ot !!!

updates to follow :D
