The exposed ends of the bolts will rust and seize in those holes, so refitting the seats may be a problem for the future, that's why I used the dust caps which are a perfect fit

I know how hard they were to remove I had to use a cut down scuffold bar in the end, I will give this idea a try tomorrow, thanks for the advice
