MARK YOU WERE RIGHT,65 was part of the serial number it is a borg warner model 35 :roll:

its now out and at the auto box shop

have removed and split the wing today the top halfs are in great condition will re assemble with new headlight bowls,next job is to change the a post and side flitch panal then re fit the wing :roll:

got the gearbox back brackets and starter all painted,and now almost re fitted

both back wheel arches almost re furbed in new fiberglass too,and aquired a new gear selector as the button was broke on mine :roll:

the spare wheel carrier was missing when i got the van so its been on the shopping list for a while last week i got one,painted it and fitted it and :shock:

the wheel dont fit :!:

this is because the walls on the slot mags are thicker so its back to the bench :roll:

well the spare wheel carriers now modified and fitted thats another job less,the rear arches also re lined in new fiberglass,put the final bits on the gearbox and run her last saturday and and and NO DRIVE : :evil:

perfect reverse but nothing forward so jack and stands its now out again and back at the shop :roll:

well thats strange

something he hasnt done correct there!
mind you we had this a manual box put it in for repair got it back fitted it it ewas exactly the same ,i dont think they ever looked at it!
