So the transits back on the road again as of today, bought a block and head from a early panel van that had done 75k.

Swapped all my bits over and its running fine again now, ive stuck to running with the early 70ps injectors as my 100ps injectors the black plastic leak of caps leak, and i cannot figure out how to remove them without breaking...

Anyway im feeling slightly stupid in that the anti tamper collar was still fitted to the pump, was completly my own fault it blew up, i had probly managed to up the fuel 1/8 turn with the collar on and clearly wasnt enough, although did work for 6 months until it blew.

Removed the locking collar today and turned the pump up slightly 3/4 of a turn and now get a small puff of black smoke when i rev from idle, it goes so much better even with 70 ps injectors, cant wait to try it out loaded, can probly turn the pump up more aswell.

Also ive slid in a dihatsu four trak intercooler and its fit really well, tilted the radiator back slightly and shaved from the the grill and fits really well. Both the inlet and outlet are on the right hand side pointing past the rad so just need some pipes making up.

Finally got a back box on after it fell off 6 months ago.. Trying to tune the pump was slightly impossible because you could not see if there was any black smoke or not. Ive fitted just the standard chassis cab side exit without the middle box.

Get a nice black haze on acceleration, still cant belive the difference no wonder the old engine gave up, its so torquey now, still need some 100ps blue spot injectors!
