but i might change my mind only had the pickup 10 years to decide :lol:

and the colours that it's been so far ........ pink - when i got it (seriously you can just see the headlight surround) red, white, green, orange,blue and yellow :o so quite a few layers to get off :lol:

Got the front screen out - some more welding to do but it's better than we expected :D

rear window is out too - could do with a new seal - anyone know if these are available :?:

We've been working on this every other evening but ive had problems getting the photos off stus phone - so not really had much to report on here :)

been up today took some photos with my camera :D

one of the door - no welding req'd just filler on a scrape that was there :D

This bit i made from a filling cabinet :lol: this is just the 1st skim of filler it was completely rotton but its all new metal now :D ive got some before pics i'll edit in if i can get them off the phone :D

bonnet :D this needed a piece about 1½" sq. welding in the corner, before we started prodding it was just a pinhole :lol:

also i'm thinking of lowering the engine it sits a bit too high :? the engine mounts were from another mk1 Di they look a bit of a bodge, the chassis mounts were fitted by me for a different Di which sat better with different mounts but ive since thrown them away :roll: :lol:

haha nice thinking i got one some where in the back of my orange one might use that to finsh my floor and whats left use on the white one 8) good idea there lol

Why are you heading down that noisy Di route, a man of your skills should be fitting something quite and modern :D
