was thinking about quad headlights but i have been told that they are s**t,

so i might go for a bad boy bonnet, with angle eyes,

have a go at that in photo shop as would like to see what it would look like,

and also lower the van about 2" if poss, and remove the towing eye hole, as that next on the list.

was thinking about some sort of fog lights but not 100% sure,

been out and given the bumper another layer of filler and gave it a sand down with 180grit paper,

getting well smooth now,

run out of filler so will have to wait till next week until i can do any more,

might be able to sort out the middle if i can work out what to do with it,

Not had much time for the forum over the last week and Ive had a mass of catching up to after a great weekend. Yes, this my kind of mod the picture with spots and quads looks the part. Is that ordinary bodyfiller, as I couldnt get the stuff to say on without peeling away. Keep it coming

yes i cheated with using the electric sander after 2 days doing by hand i gave up,

yes just normal filler isopon p38 easy sand,

seem to work really easy and no sign of it coming of, fingers crossed,

it the first time i have ever tryed doing anything like this so i might be doing it all wrong but hay it looks right to me,

thanks, no the streeing wheel boss was from my collection of old ford bits from old cars i have owned,

cant think what its off proberly of a mk1/2 escort,

the only problem with the 12" wheel is that the standard switchs (the levers) are way to long and every time i turned the wheel i keeped turning them on,

thats why i changed them to the smaller ones,

mk2 fiesta left hand one

p100 right hand one,


everything works as it should really nice little conversion, not to much involved nice and easy, and the suround does fit back togeather just had one screw missing,

will do a HOW TO if people are interested,

can tell you what wires go to what wire ect,

boss will be a mk1 escort as mk2 is different great work with the bumper

btw we've allready got a how too on the fitting a wheel - if you want to do an add on on how to wire up the fiesta stalks that would be great

I fitted Mk2 Fiesta stalks to a Mk3 Transit 18 years ago......

I'm sure they are a direct swap but.......It has been 18 years!!!

thanks the bumper is getting there but need some more free time and some filler,

i have been thinking about the single wiper conversion that i have done, using a fiat uno wipper motor and i have desided to change it back toa ford transit one

i will be converting it to be a single wipper still, i have worked out how to do it this morning and i will try it later to see if i worked it out right,

i will take pics and let everyone know how i get on but it looks like it should be easy enough for others to do, i have worked out that i can get it to stop, PARK, in the middle of the screen or on each side, depends on what look you are after,

i think it changes the look of the front of a transit and plus people dont think that transits should be different but we spend time on bumpers, bad boy bonnets, grills, or putting in different head lights so why not a single wipper aswel,

personally i'd avoid all things bling like badboy bonnetts, quads etc.

i like the subtle look, the plain deeper bumper that you know is different but you cant initially tell why, makes them look twice, keep 'em guessing
