So, how you getting on this one then... Did you weld shaped steel on? Have been out in the dark yet?

yes i cut a template out of thin aliminium and bent and shaped it till it fitted right then flattened it out cut 2 pieces of steel and welded it in and filled it smooth :D

Looks like a grand job your doing there :D
I looked at projector headlights, but they looked swamped by the area, but they would look just about right in those slotted headlamp areas 8)

just an update on some more progress, i managed to figure out the pipes on the power steering rack and had a pipe made (thanks to vts tail lifts in hertford) and terry round the corner :D so i now have power steering, just need to re-set the tracking.

also been out in the dark with my modded bonnet on and its official....... i can't see sh*t :lol: so its either some sort of headlamp mod ie projectors or maybe just a bulb upgrade and wire in some relays we'll see :)

Beautiful sounds eminating from the beasts exhaust today Browny :-) Sweet.
The bonnet looked the nuts, I really like that.
And of course the new body colour...well, what can I say?
Dying to pickup my wellers now, and get them drilled, chromed, and fitted 8)

Did you get it started and make it home ok?

yeah was a good day, started no probs, good as gold all way home just fuel evaporation cos it got too hot :)
the new colour is definitly growing on me, think i will do it with some proper paint 8)

hve you thought about doing the back lights 'properly' ie welding a plate over and frenching in round lights :?: i'd love to see it done 8) want to do mine but i'm too slow, i'll never get round to it :lol:

maybe i had the pressure washer set to hot............

or was it cos i painted it with cheap emulsion :lol: :lol: :lol:
