All you need is a power inverter, mine is hidden away so it can be seen.

She's also received an EFi cylinder head as the gas flow is supposed to be much better....it is 8)

Hi Rover,
I noticed you fitted a performance manifold to your pinto.I've looked around and can not find a manifold to fit-can you remember who made yours?
PLUS,i don't suppose you have a spare K & N filter for Weber dgas do you? Going to put a wanted in the section tonight for the K and N.
Cheers,
Jono

I havent got a spare K&N I'm afraid, I got the manifold from Burton Power, its a 2" (the 2.25 catches the bellhousing so I sent it back) for a Mk2 escort I believe, check with MadMark, he bought one for his Mk1 before going back to V4 so he may still have it laying around.

You do have to cut the downpipe and make a section to go over the gearbox crossmember though!

Re: Rover's van. New Bumper, Not Sure!!

Postby rover » Sun Jul 19, 2009 6:14 pm

Well I got the Bumper off evilbay for £22.07 :D

But even though it was designed for a MK3 it wasn't a straight fit by any stretch of the imigination

Still...its on! I'm not sure though at the moment, maybe its just cos I had hassle fitting it :?

It has to come off again at some stage for another coat of paint, but that wont be till after Gaydon unfortunately :(

Image

What do you reckon?

and why does it look like there is something missing? :? Have I always had a piece missing from the bottom of my grille or does it just look that way with the new bumper????
