So how big is your bed area and you going to put a curtain behind the seats off your cab shelf or around them to cover all the windows?

The bed when fully extended (seats forward) is about 650mm wide, and the full width of the van so up to 1750mm long. I've yet to get a mattress made up but I've tried it for size and it suits me fine

I already have a set of silverscreens from gabby to cover all the front windows, they do the job but are a bit of a pain in the @rse so not sure what I'm gonna do re:curtains

If your going for a foam mattress go for the 6 inch / 150 mm, and if your going to cover it i would suggest making the cover about 1 inch /25 mm smaller per side as this will hold the shape of the foam better, i bit of a sod to get the cover on but well worth it in the long run, also i would be tempted to get a decent heavy black curtain to section of the cab to the bed area as this will also make a difference on the cold mornings, as i did this to my first van.

I've been painting the lower bits that were blue, red



It was done with hammerite on a roller, it's not the best paintjob but looks quite good, baring in mind this will be a working van and will soon get covered in stone chips/salt/etc

As you might now have gussed the bumpers were sprayed red but have been sat in my bedroom for weeks as I don't want to damage them whilst still working on the van

I've also started paiting the ramp which is an absolute pig, but have now ran out of paint!

I was toying with painting mine either black or white, now i have seen the white I'm not to sure, how about the standard black plastic trims back on it will tone it down a bit.
