This was the 'el' wire I was talking about before

Or real fun stuff..sound activated but the same thing

If you actually go in store (instead of online) they should have pinks and reds maybe green too. I was in there today and saw the kits on the shelf.

started pulling off the fiberglass parts today, to inspect and repair the metal behind them.
I think the backend might need a few repairs :P

going to have to guess how it should be as there is a lot of metal missing, and make a few changes to prevent the ingress of water that has obviously occured in the past.

i'm not sure, it looks like there was no ford metal behind the fiberglass section, it was all fabricated pieces except for the very bottom of the original light apetures, the fiberglass panel was not added to the outside skin of the shell, it WAS the outside skin

ive decided to not rebuild the windscreen frame and replace it instead,
since my mk2 truck is just sitting and rotting away and has a good screen frame its become a donor.

im going to change the dash section as well, as 3001 has a few rust holes in the dash and the truck only has light surface rust.

Hi there, thats one hell of a project you have taken on. I used to get Street machine magazine and remember seeing pictures of it in there. Am I right in thinking it had Granada lights on the back ? Another transit they featured had the metalwork from a granada welded into the back to take the lights I think.

yes it was built using pre-facelift mk2 granada rear lights.
i dont suppose you can remember which issue or year it was in street machine as im still looking for decent images of it so i can get the outside looking original
