harry the lime is in disgrace today
the past few days he had been getting hard to start from cold he would fire up then stop and have to be "excessively cranked " so thinking he might have an air leak i had a look this morning and loads of air in the clear whiteish fuel line from the filter to the pump? thing. and by the time i had grubbed about with it has a gouge and hole in it where it had been rubbing on the underside of the air filter box that now has diesel coming out of it

so hes off the road already :( i thought the dealers would have one as it looks like everyones must do it but they dont stock it maybe because its fifty quid  and piece of old rubber hose would do the trick but not being the bodging type  i have ordered a gen ford one and will have it wendsday
how does one bleed this is it just turn it over or have i "missed a nipple"

you need a hand primer pump,

you can get away with cranking as long as the filters full

  @ velcro

new pipe on and started no probs this morning 8) bubble less :D
new one is a good inch away from the air filter box that made a hole in the last one at the moment. i think i might put some tiewraps and an old toothpaste tube round it though just incase though it was a little over 50 quid  that i worked out to be £1.25 per inch not bad for a bit of old recycled milk bottle and an old tesco bag 8)
Image
the 12 mm nylon fuel tubeing is around £2.75 a meter in netto so that would make the connectors that arnt available from super markets £47.25 a pair
any way next time its having one of these Image 8)
