Whether or not the same theories apply to your engine I don't know?

some good info in there - has a complete section on the 2jz manual downloads etc. cheers 8)

progress............ no pics sorry forgot :| but i've mocked the engine mounts up today - doing it different this time, usually i make the engine mounts to fit into the factory chassis mounts, but this time i'm keeping the factory engine mounts and modding the chassis part to suit :D so far they are looking pritty good - cant wait to get them finished :D its a bit more of a hassle now tho as ive not got the same job so no tooled up workshop to use :( so i'm having to do it all by hand
also ive decided to make a new gearbox crossmember up rather than modding the existing one - makes it easier and neater :D

should be back on with them tomorrow and i'll remember to post pics

had a good day on it today - i've now got the engine mounted in the right place sat on the mounts 8) the mounts arnt finished but strong enough to hold the engine - i'll finish them off when i tie the 2 sides together as once i do that i'll not be able to remove them without dropping the crossmember :| :D

here's a pic doesnt show it very well but that circular disk is cut into the old mount and the rubber sits on it :D and the hole is in the middle - just looks out in the pic :?

Image

next ive got the gearbox crossmember to finish - once thats done i'll get the prop done :D
