first nuts arent nyloc just high tensile nuts; i put a nyloc on each one after cos im paranoid!

and fek me the other nylocs were slags to remove along 100mm threads could only crop half the bolts ...

That's why I spent a fortune on the Unwin stuff for my 5 rear seats, the total cost was for the conversion but you can't put a price on a loved ones head

I'd like to hook up when you do your 'de lock n retro fit central locking solenoid' as I'd like to add c/l to my sld at a later date

yeah defo! only 2 wires from front to sld and about 2 inches of welds... plus i got a spare solenoid you can have!

Looking good fella. Just so you know for future Essex fasteners does any bolt nut washer or fasteners you can think off and also do a lot of tools glues etc. it's a bit of an all aladins cave. When I fitted the seats in my last van I bought stainless steel bolts nuts and washers there. It's in Wickford ind est. they also sell tiger flex there at a good price

Got some proper heavy duty hinges today, 8 in all to do the tri folding bulkhead when i next get to play! need to think of a way to secure the sides perhaps some vertical battens or such?

So tonights escapade to get and deliver a sofa turned out well...

firstly, triple seatee fitted in van (luckily cushions detached)

secondly...

actually got the single seater in too on top... in a low roof van with rear seats!!!!!

so now i know exactly what ill be doing for bulkhead...tri-folding, fold flat rear, rear bulkhead!!!

if i play it right, when up there will be decent suitcase sized space behind rear seats, and if needed bulk head can/will be folded down in thirds, also hinged at bottom to floor so can be concertina'd down and laid sort of flat on floor behind seats which can still be folded horizontal!!

van ran really well too only did quarter tank from home to laindon to bitnacre to home, guess approx 40 miles on motorway ( ) and softly softly down some wicked back lanes from laindon to bitnacre

the pinto would have easiily used more simply cos would have been up n down gears more.

i pull off in 2nd, can go round roundabouts in 4th at 30mph and still out accellerate most others around...

fekin lovin this old v6 now!

just wish i could get the fekin zorsts to stop blowing... steel tubular race manifolds methinks when i get my next decent bonus..160 ish pair but will then need 2 centre boxes @ £60 each and another back box@ £50 n some piping n bends@£100 ish

be nice tho...



forgot to add fkin broke my sld handle tonight...cnut! i jammed the rear of the door shut, forgot to press against it and fkin busted up the handle to open the friggin door.....

are these easy to replace?? ARSE

the SLD handle isn't hard to replace...

I do have a very good condition white SLD with a window in if you decide you would rather change the whole door Its a central locking one too
