Like everbody already said really nicely done. But I don't understand the working of the sliding bits. The rearlights slide outwards if I understand correctly but what about the wiring then? And how does that towbar construction work in the end?

well the wire feeds through box section to lights and the spring clip keeps them in , when in use and extended out giveing you a safe path down each side of vehicle in the dark as lights make it look wider
tobar you just lift number plate up pull pin out pull towbar out place pin in and reverse when not in use but i havent fitted ball yet :? :? confused i am reading what ive wrote

Good to see the progress, love the lights & A Bar. I've got some MK5 Escort fogs,I'm gonna check if I could fit them in my truck.
Looks good in paint, you were lucky with the colour.I painted my MK4 Daytona yellow. Are you having any reflective & graphics?
Wheels are a mission to prepare arn't they.I red-scotched mine off and gave them a coat of smooth stonechip (Tetrosyl is v.smooth & cheap)then silvered them up.
So many "little" jobs to do,it goes on forever.I was glad to get rid of my cab-chassis to the fabrictors,it was taking my life over!Back this week :P
Looking forward to seeing yours finished too...
