Finished welding in replacement panel.

Upon checking bottom catch on N/S rear door. It's bent & requires replacing.

When to fit towbar......

Then realised that I have no O/S rear bumper reinforcement mounting. Original was missing along with reinforcement.

Without that mount, I can't fit bumper reinforcement, bumper or tow bar :roll:

Yes It's not bad for a mk6, Its structurally sound. Just mainly cosmetic damage. :wink:

Onwer who's a member on here, has popped up & seen the work done so far. He's jumping with joy & can't wait until it's finished :P 8)

I am certain bumper reinforcement was removed due to fitted aftermarket parking sensors before it was rammed into the back of.
With reinforcement damage may not have as bad. :wink:

Yep my thoughts too as the brackets bolt to the chassis legs and the bar would of absorbed the impact

To fit the mk7 rear lights do you just need the lenses or the bulb holder as well?

buff and polish it will come up like new

g3 is the job for polishing old and new stuff
