Fitted the crank seal to the timing cover then fitted the timing cover, the crank seal instructions are fit it dry I don't like that plan
I filled the engine with oil etc then thought I should probably replace the oil sump too and I can check the strainer

Feel free to comment either way, my plan is to make it look modern not chav, this is just a dry fit it'll need painting etc. It looks modern and different and these are ford factory parts.

Starts on the button,runs mint.

New rocker cover seal.
New injector seals.
New centrifugal oil filter.
New green o rings.
New copper washers.
Seats gently cut.
New oil
New oil cooler and filter upgraded metal screw type.
New vacuum pump gasket.
New fuel filter not fitted yet.
New timing cover and new crank seal.
New beru 11.5v glow plugs.


Injectors need programming in.
Fuel pump learn not done
Injector pilot learn not done

I did clean everything and removed it then refitted etc all pipes and wires checked and cleaned and tied up safely as it was new.
Took some cranking to pull the fuel through as I had the whole fuel system disconnected.

Yes hence me wanting to get it through mot. It looks a bit like a connect the more I look at it

It's a ford bumper and headlights, I only need to remove the passenger tow eye bracket and I've bought a driver side tow bracket from Europe,I'll cut that off and weld a screw thread for a screw in tow loop. The 4 bumper bolts are slightly in different places but that's no problem. The wings will fit,I might need to make side brackets for them to connect the bumper but I expect the side screws will fit anyway. I need to paint the bumper, I need to turn the van around and do the drivers side replacement of the inner arches and sill etc line I did on the passenger side.

Despite the boys at ford trying to stop us from updating our tramps vans, I was able to get the cal!bration I needed and I updated my van f*** you Ford

Bought 4 bb injectors that were sent for testing and tested ok,were still in sealed bags. £170 delivered. I need to do leak of tests on all of them etc.

Started doing a bit to the driver's side, was toying with the idea of plating the drivers side inner sill panel just so I can mot it and it'll give me a year to legally foof about with the van but after prodding at it enthusiastically it decided to remove itself. Don't really fancy buying a new panel knowing that I am going to fit a sliding door but also I don't want to remove the blank side panel in case I can't get the other bits I need to convert, what to do
