Well...
It turned over quite well with no injectors in, but wouldn't even move with the injectors in... (obviously with new oil in)
So... I borrowed a mate, and we towed it around the block with no injectors in! It sounded like a tractor on full chat

the theory was that thick cold gloopy oil was blocking things up and a bit more power was needed to get everything shifting
So whacked the injectors back in.... and because the battery wasn't at full charge, dragged it around the blick again to bleed it all up and it wouldn't start even on a tow (note - this was all towing in gear, not bumping).
Got it back and noticed diesel on the union of the high pressure pump... tightened that up and boom it fired straight in to life! Plenty of smoke for the first few minutes but sounded sweet.
Anyway left it running for half an hour or so and dropped the (emulsified) oil, and changed the oil filter... it looled like dirty milk!
I will have to do a couple more very short duration oil changes to get all the emulsification out now
