I put a mk 5 bumper up to my mk 3 and it looks like the mountings are different, and the mk4/5 front wheelarches are more flared than the mk 3 so the edges would sort of stick out...
that would mean i'd have to order a set of wheelarch trims/extensions off you as well as a modified front bumper! :lol: :D

There are slight differences between mk3 and 4, I went to fit the bullbar from a mk3 onto a 4 and it wont fit without modification

this is how the bumper should look on me van, and any other for that matter. 8)
exept mine's not this colour :lol:
:idea: oh and i've decided to make it without light slots for the time being so as to keep cost's down :idea: :? light's seem to cost in the region of £90 :shock: new, so anyone who get's a bumper won't HAVE to worry about putting lights in it to finish it of :) just paint it :D and fit it :D

please let me know your thought's on this :D

personaly i think it looks better with the lights in but i still think it will look awsome without!! 8) and it could always be modded after to fit them in!! :D

not 100% sure but the mk3 bumper might have different mountings to the mk4/5 :?
i will check i have 1 of each :D
ok forgot to measure my mk4 but the front 2 mountings on the mk3 are 41" apart - thats what i think is different about them!!! :D im sure somone can pop outside and measure their mk4/5 :P

ye looking on ebay i can find the the indicaters but not the lights/fog's :cry: i will go and get the tape measure :lol:

right the mk5 front mounting holes appear to be 1030mm / 51 1/4 inches :? hope that helps

yeah so there different :( probly not difficult to mod it to fit a mk3 tho!!! :D ive a feeling the 2 end montuings are the same - would need looking into tho!!! :?
