Ooooooh likey likey very much, I'm sure that plate will get you a pull
Have you considered a square plate now? I think it would suit your new look far better 8)
regards Martin.
On starting up, it sounded exactly like a skeleton having a w@^k in a biscuit tin.

Small update :

Received motorbike size rear number plate today so will get that on today or tomorrow.

Got signal booster for std radio, and fitted it this morning.
I don't get any more stations though :( just louder fuzz

Got second-battery relay this week, and fitted it this afternoon...
even though I don't have a second battery yet
At the moment it's serving as an auto shut-off switch for the 12v accessories circuit
(amps, radio signal booster, inverter, interior lights, etc).

ah well, I guess you'll get sorted on the extra battery soon - we're thinking we may need a power cap to run the stereo! lol How embarrassing is that?????

I'll just visit the breakers for 2 or 3 van batteries (unless you got any?). Leisure batteries are no good for a good bass-line  Why do you need to run a power cap?

Just picked up 2 Bosch batteries, 1 car 1 van, from a boot-sale for a tenner the pair :!:
Let's hope they charge

I was tempted by the 6 7X15" Landy Wellers he had too, but 75notes was too strong for me :(

Also found a hook-up lead or a fiver 8) Bargain.

Its only a small alternator and when you run several amps they need a bit of back up with a lot of bass :D otherwise you tend to find all the electrics flashing to the beat  It tends to make you lose out on peak volts at max bass output, especialy when the lights are on :(

Talking of pintos, I've just given 45notes for a granada 2L DOHC for my mk1 :D
and have a set of 40mm bike carbs to go on it :D (which I'll make a manifold for)
Does 45 quid sound ok to you for an granada mt75 to go on it?

Re: MattBlackMinibus - New Toy in dash :-)

Postby MattBlackMinibus » Sun Sep 06, 2009 10:24 pm

Had it fitted for ages, but finally got my pre-amp itted into the dashboard.
It has several inputs for various sources, such as my ipod and xbox,
and also provides better volume control better than vague ipod one -

and got me ipod lead poking out ... here -

Have square number plate on the rear now and it looks much better,
got a new grille on the way, to customise,
fitted split charging with two big Bosch batteries, and an inverter,
and will be installing more hi-fi soon 8)

So watch this space for more pics soon ...
