I reckon flat, compounding, polishing and waxing will do the trick :P

I was told that clear lacquer goes really well over paint and deepens the effect. On one of my Vespas, it had a water based paint re-spray, which looked dull. The original had a metallic effect to it. once the bloke put on a layer of lacquer, it really stood out, the metallic effect deepened and really looked fantastic. Lacquer also helps protect the paint. Like sticky back plastic would to paper.

Looks fantastic though. See Sam missed a bit on the video :P . Well done mate, nice little family project. I will look out for it next time I go through Old Harlow (normally have to slum it through new Harlow though). Keep up the good work. You going to the London and Eastern meet?

Also, I have uploaded the (large) video of the unwrapping. Best viewed on fastforward!

I am now back to working on the bus each evening after work. Tonight I hope to get the rear bumper on and tint and replace the tailgate glass. More pics will follow. Thanks again for all your kind words... TT 8) 8)

KK, thanks again for making me think about the design on the back of the bus. I think the end result has come out fabulous. Cheers... TT 8) 8)

Correct! That's the only choice you have. There's a thread elswhere on logbook colours so I wont go into detail. My old Pug went down as Multi, that's how I knew :)

Well since all the paint is on you have two weeks to make the London/Eastern meeting which at the speed you have gone at so far is more than enough time.
