i'm not really any good with styling you've allready come up with a better look than i could have but................. what about rather than blending the grill into the bumper have the gap there so they are 2 seperate pieces

Your prob right to be honest i reckon its the only way to make it work was thinking about running some beading round to do pretty much the same thing as seperating them hadn't actually crossed my mind.
Looks like i've got a couple of weeks of now so gonna get the granada stripped and start getting all the bits on the transit sorted so i can slot the cossie lump in. I have decided to use the manual box now as well so will be going down the swirl pot route i think to keep things simple. So if any ones got a pinto adaptor plate and flywheel kicking around send us a pm

Not been able to do to much to the van lately due to lack of work and no money but i did manage to scrimp £50 together and get some paint so here are the results. Thought i'd mention that the pictures make it look a lot better than it is as i dont think i thinned it down enough as it dried so quick it left roller marks and it didn't help it was a darker colour so didn't cover 100% oh well i'll sort it out on the next two coats

Yup its rustoleum ral number 5022 Ultramarine blue. Well happy with the colour its as close to the old ST blue as i could get but it really does need a lot of work done on it but it'll do for the time being

yes matey bought it from brewers in laindon and it was £40 for 2.5l

Was thinking of going the rustoleam route on miss piggy but seeing some of the work of 2or3 coats & rubbing down after letting it cure for a week, seems a bit time consuming,

I'm starting to have my doubts already
but the whole idea with this van is I wanted to be able to say that I've done it all myself so i think it'll be worth it in the end. Besides you can take your time

poxy mot testers said he was being extra hard on me as there was a good chance i would get pulled over with my van looking the way it does WTF. Only failed on little things tho so i'll be spending tom eve sorting them out ready for re-test fri
