Folks i could use your input on a modification i am thinking of on the wheels....

as i am rather stuck with the wheels i have - it being a 6 studder and all that - i cant decide if banded steels in hi gloss black with chrome nut covers are the way to go.

any thoughts an input are appreciated as always

I actually have no idea what the wheels you are describing look like....but if it's any help..If you post a pic of them, I can slap them on your van with photoshop.

Banded steels always look cool, especially if you lower the van 8)
 What's your body colour going to be?
My steels are black and I like em, but I'd chrome them if funds allowed.

Ok....I thought 'banded steels' referred to a particular style of wheel...but it's a process for making a wheel wider? On page 5 of your progress report the van is shown with steel wheels (and a hubcap is still on a back wheel). If these are the wheels being modified then I think the black with chrome nuts would probably look better than running the hubcaps. Another option is silver the same colour as the van, that way you have the contrast of the silver rim then the black tyre then the silver body...the black/black combo lacks that contrast. Chrome is another option, but it never looks as dramatic when the body colour is similar. The style of wheel you have doesn't lend itself easily to colour highlights (like GTS Monaro wheels do).I don't know whether you're having signage for your business on the side of the van, but if you were and depending on the colours, they might be able to be used as highlights on the wheels.
